Recently the NHS has announced that over 100 staff are likely to be made redundant in yet another exercise in job, staffing and service cuts. All of the redundancies are being said to be voluntary. A very similar offer was made towards the end of the 1980’s when a market crash, an old oil war scuffle and a trade bubble burst.

The people that took the offer of a ‘golden handshake’ were the people who thrived on change and took the opportunity to do something different with their lives. The people who stayed behind were the people who sought security, the least creative and the people that companies really could do without.

Over the past two weekends I have had the pleasure of signing the qualification certificates for two groups of NLP Practitioners and one group of NLP Master Practitioners here in Newcastle. The final day includes a presentation from the students that sums up their experiences and learnings over the past ten month NLP Practitioner or the past six month NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Practitioner.

The form of the presentation to demonstrate their NLP learnings and experiences is up to the presenters. I have been absolutely delighted with the effort, work and sheer skill that goes into these presentation and applaud the exquisite use of humour.

One NLP Practitioner group gave me this certificate.

In my experience, having met over one thousand NLP’s, the Meta Model can often be  confusing and one of the least understood aspects of NLP. It doesn’t need to be this way at all! You don’t need to know the confusing labels and terminology.

All you need are examples and a context to put them in. It really is very easy … once you give yourself permission to experience the Meta Model and understand it afterwards. After all this is the basic model for learning. The understanding comes later.

“How Specifically”
